Overview

This 6 credit in-person training is intended to provide clinicians with an in-depth introduction to process-focused interventions for ADHD. Process-based approaches go beyond therapeutic technique alone and emphasize identifying and modifying the unique processes that underlie an individual’s challenges.

Participants will expand their understanding of diverse presentations of ADHD, while considering differential diagnoses and complex factors. This training explores how process-focused approaches promote executive function development and facilitate collaborative learning in a therapeutic context.

Clinicians will gain practical skills in designing collaborative, systems-based interventions and learn strategies for modeling essential skills within the therapeutic relationship.
