My Approach

I believe that all challenges we experience in life are opportunities to learn about ourselves and grow as individuals. I am passionate about providing support and hope to others as they work toward healing, and am dedicated to creating a warm, nonjudgmental, and safe therapeutic environment.  I know that each person has unique strengths, challenges, and experiences; therefore I will always tailor treatment to meet your individual needs. I specialize in treating adults with eating disorders, trauma-related disorders, and interpersonal issues, and have experience working with people of all genders, gender identities, and sexual orientations. I utilize a variety of evidence based therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral TherapyAcceptance and Commitment Therapy, and some somatic modalities to support my clients in increasing insight into disordered behavior patterns, developing practical skills for managing behavioral urges and symptoms, and creating sustained recovery by healing their relationships with food and their bodies.

Although I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, I am experienced in treating common mental concerns including anxiety, depression, substance use, and trauma-related disorders.
