My Approach

We all have our own unique experiences that no one truly knows as well as you do. That is why I emphasize that clients are the experts. My goal is to create a warm and empathetic space where you feel you can discuss important issues without judgment. I take an integrative approach pulling from multiple therapeutic modalities such as ACT, DBT,CBT, and SFBT.

Throughout my life, I have frequently been referred to as a jack of all trades. I have held multiple positions in different fields which have given me a wealth of lived experience, developing my ability to empathize with individuals of all walks of life. During my time at the University of Connecticut, I was fortunate enough to secure an internship position where I was able to combine my passion for helping others and my love for animals. During this internship, I was able to assist children and adolescents in navigating difficult challenges utilizing equine-assisted therapy. I then went on to become a case manager for adults with developmental disabilities just outside of Boston. During my graduate career, the first half of my training was based out of St. cloud, Florida where I provided individual and group counseling services to individuals living with a wide range of mental health disorders. The second half of my graduate training was conducted with Third Wave where I continued to provide individual counseling services.
