Do you want to feel more grounded in your daily life but aren’t sure where to start? You might be feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, or simply disconnected from yourself. In our sessions, we’ll approach these concerns with curiosity and empathy.
I believe therapy is a place where you should feel understood, supported, and challenged. Because I believe change only happens when a strong therapeutic relationship is present, I focus on connecting with my clients and making sure they feel comfortable sharing life’s joys and difficulties. By focusing on self-compassion and your personal values, you’ll develop a way of relating to yourself that feels kind and accepting.
Every client is unique, but I typically draw on a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness to work toward the goals we identify together. Since you're the expert on your own experience, we'll go at your pace and work collaboratively to navigate anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and whatever else comes up along the way. My goal is to help you relate to difficult thoughts and feelings differently, so you can live a more connected and meaningful life.
I work with individuals across the lifespan - teens, adults, college students, and older adults - and have particular experience supporting people through anxiety, grief and loss, self-esteem struggles, and life transitions. I also welcome clients interested in exploring spirituality in therapy. While I don't identify as a faith-based counselor, I can offer insight from a Christian tradition and let you guide how much (or how little) that shows up in our work together.

During my practicum experience at Clemson University, I provided individual counseling sessions for students within the College of Architecture. This often looked like practicing mindfulness, developing coping skills for anxiety, and providing workshops for topics such as perfectionism and burnout. I also completed an internship at a non-profit organization where I helped low-resourced individuals work towards their social and emotional goals, often within a context of scarcity and trauma. During my time at Clemson University, I served as a Case Manager for the CARE Network, where I worked to identify student concerns via referrals and connected them with on campus resources to support their emotional, social, and academic success. I also worked as the Community Outreach Intern at the Sexual Assault Resource Center in College Station, Texas during college where I supported educational initiatives within schools, clubs, and businesses in the community.
