Everyone is different even if they share similar experiences, and my goal as a clinician is to work collaboratively with each client to tailor therapy sessions to individual needs. I approach my work from a solution-focused angle, wanting to provide strategies and resources for clients to use in their daily lives. I work collaboratively to discuss, reflect, and modify strategies as needed to facilitate growth and improve outcomes. I work with children, adolescents, and adults using various modalities including ACT, DBT, and CBT, as well as play therapy for children. Through these different modalities, I encourage clients to utilize their learned skills outside of the therapeutic space to help the client manage whatever struggles they are facing in the best ways possible. The therapy space will always be a place to foster growth and trust to support clients in reaching their goals.

BA in Psychology & Public Health, Elon University, 2021 -
My previous clinical experience includes working as a school-based & outpatient therapist in Chatham County, serving clients with a variety of mental health issues. During my master’s program, I had the opportunity to work in a school and with an organization that specialized in developmental disabilities. Each of these experiences allowed me to work with not only the individuals impacted, but their families as well. I have begun to develop my therapeutic toolkit by attending and completing training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and I continue to build skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
