My Approach
I believe with a collaborative, person-centered approach to therapy, self actualization is achievable for all. In my experience of working along-side families and individuals, I have learned everyone is on their own journey and they are the experts of their lives. As humans we desire community, relationship, and autonomy. I provide a non-judgmental and inclusive environment by holding space for clients to explore their experiences, strengths, and areas for growth. I pull from a multitude of evidence based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Behavioral Therapy, and others to provide support to clients in increasing self awareness, managing stress, building confidence, and improving relationship

Experience
After graduating with a bachelors in psychology, I worked with families and children in a school and community based setting utilizing therapy and talk therapy. During graduate school I served as an academic advisor to underrepresented college students to increase academic and social performance. As a social worker, I am passionate about working with adolescents and young adults in navigating their past experiences to navigate present and future experiences.
