My Approach
I hope to create a warm and open space for all clients to feel comfortable sharing, exploring, and challenging their presenting concerns. I do so by offering a non-judgmental space to develop a caring and supportive relationship to assist you in working towards your goals at your own pace. I utilize a creative, motivational approach to therapy and focus on providing cognitive behavioral, mindfulness based, dialectical behavioral, and solution focused therapeutic strategies to address the needs of every individual. Additionally, in working with clients presenting with eating disorders, I focus on alleviating body image distress and unpacking behavior patterns and thoughts around disordered eating, all while trying to foster the development of an identity outside of one’s eating disorder.
