My Approach
Are you on a journey to shift from a lifestyle of pleasing and perfecting to embracing self-acceptance, and setting boundaries? Together we will explore your strengths and develop skills to create balance and promote healing with your mind and body. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating eating disorder recovery, anxiety, and depression. I use a variety of evidence-based techniques that focus on enhancing positive coping skills, promoting mindfulness, and interrupting negative thought patterns. Together we will find both creative and practical skills to manage behaviors and urges and strive for mind and body acceptance.

Experience
Over the years I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients in a variety of settings. During graduate school, I had the opportunity to work with children and families in the foster care system. Through this experience I became trained and certified in trauma-informed care. After earning my MSW, I began providing individual, group, and family therapy for children and teenagers in residential, inpatient, and partial hospitalization levels of care. Through my roles I have worked with co-occurring disorders, including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, OCD, personality disorders, and others.
