My Approach
Therapy is a place of compassionate listening, non-judgement, and a safe space to unpack your worries. I hope to provide just that for you.
I specialize in working with young adults and adults with concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, career transitions, work anxiety, and stress management. I also enjoy working with college students from various backgrounds.
I believe that empathy and trust are the foundation of a positive client/therapist relationship. It is my passion to encourage and empower you towards your personal growth, goals, and overall mental well-being. Together, we will help you towards a life well lived. I promise to meet you where you are, as you are.

Experience
My journey in this field began with my graduate degree, which I pursued with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling and Student Affairs/Higher Education. During my graduate work, I interned in mainly higher education settings, in both a counseling capacity and career guidance.
After graduating from ECU’s Counselor Education program, I worked in the career counseling field at the NCSU Career Center helping students obtain internships and gain experience outside of the classroom.
I dived head first back into clinical mental health shortly after the pandemic hit in 2020 where I found myself being led to helping individuals cope with this difficult time on top of whatever else they were going through in life. I have had the privilege of working with diverse client needs and meeting them where they are.
